Activity:

• Installed Platformer microgame
• Explored Unity
• Finished the modding tutorials for the 2D Platformer game

Notes:

This was not my first time using Unity so navigating the editor and following the tutorials was not difficult. I mostly played around so the finished game is not anything great, all the modded parts can be found in the first 10 seconds of gameplay - I had no motivation to add stuff to the later part of the game since I was never able to get so far while playing it. I had much more comfortable experience when I worked on the assignment at school since I could follow the assignment on one monitor and have Unity open on another - later at home I had to switch between windows all the time.

Invested time:

• Installations: 30 minutes
• Tutorials: 2 hours (1:15 at the labs and 45 minutes at home)
• itch.io setup and writing this report: ~40 minutes

Outcome:

Build (uploaded to the itch.io page as a .zip file)
